Installing StarFlo is quick and easy. Follow these simple steps:

1. Visit the Chrome Web Store and search for "StarFlo" or click the direct link on our website.
2. Click the "Add to Chrome" button on the extension page.
3. In the popup that appears, review the permissions and click "Add extension" to confirm.
4. Once installed, you'll see the StarFlo icon appear in your browser's extension toolbar.
5. Open Google Sheets to start using StarFlo. You'll see the StarFlo panel appear automatically.

StarFlo makes it easy to pin (or "star") your frequently used menu items for quick access:

1. Open Google Sheets and navigate to any spreadsheet.
2. Click on the star outline on the right side of the menu item you want to pin (e.g., "Format > Import", "Insert > Function > SUM").
3. The pinned item will now appear in your StarBar for quick access in any spreadsheet.

StarFlo also allows you to pin formatting options like text and highlight colors for quick access:

To star a highlight color:

1. In Google Sheets, select a cell or range of cells you want to format.
2. Click on the highlight/text color tool in the toolbar (the paint bucket/ A icon).
3. Right-click on any color in the color palette (e.g., yellow, blue, custom colors).
4. The color will now appear in your StarBar for one-click highlighting/ text coloring.

The main benefit of StarFlo is the ability to execute complex menu paths with a single click:

1. Open any Google Sheets document where you want to use your pinned items.
2. The StarFlo panel will appear on the right side of your screen (you can reposition it if needed).
3. Simply click on any pinned item in the panel to execute it immediately. StarFlo will automatically navigate through all the necessary menu items for you.
4. For functions that require parameters (like VLOOKUP), StarFlo will open the function dialog with your commonly used parameters pre-filled.

As your workflow evolves, you may want to update your collection of starred items. Here's how:

To remove a starred item:

1. Click the pencil emoji on the top right corner of the StarBar.
2. Click the "X" icon that appears on the right side of the item.
3. Click the checkmark emoji to confirm the removal.

To reorder starred items:

1. Click the pencil emoji on the top right corner of the StarBar.
2. Click and drag the dotted gripper icon that appears on the right side of the item to reorder functions to your liking.
3. Click the checkmark emoji to apply your changes.

As you navigate your Google Sheet, you may want to move the StarBar out of your way. Here's how:

To collapse and expand the StarBar:

1. To collapse, click the "-" at the top right corner of the StarBar to hide starred functions.
2. To expand, click the "+" at the top right corner of the StarBar to show starred functions.

To move the StarBar:

1. Click and drag the dotted gripper icon at the top center of the StarBar.
2. Release the StarBar when you wish to relocate it.

If your starred items aren't working properly, try these solutions:

1. Refresh the page: Sometimes, simply refreshing Google Sheets can resolve temporary issues.
2. Check for Google Sheets updates: Google occasionally updates their interface, which might affect StarFlo. Make sure you're using the latest version of both Google Sheets and StarFlo.
3. Re-pin the item: If a specific item isn't working, try removing it and pinning it again. The menu structure might have changed.
4. Check for conflicts: Other extensions might be interfering with StarFlo. Try temporarily disabling other Google Sheets extensions to see if that resolves the issue.
5. Clear cache: Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then restart the browser.

If the StarFlo extension isn't appearing in Google Sheets, try these steps:

1. Check if the extension is enabled: Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar to see if StarFlo is listed and enabled.
2. Pin the extension to your toolbar: Click the puzzle piece icon, find StarFlo, and click the pin icon to make it always visible.
3. Reinstall the extension: Try removing StarFlo and reinstalling it from the Chrome Web Store.
4. Check browser compatibility: StarFlo works best with Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers. Make sure you're using a supported browser.
5. Disable incognito mode: StarFlo may not work in incognito/private browsing mode unless specifically allowed.

If StarFlo isn't detecting menu items when you try to pin them, try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Update StarFlo: Make sure you're using the latest version of the extension.
2. Try the alternative pinning method: Instead of right-clicking, use the StarFlo panel's "+" button and manually navigate to the item you want to pin.
3. Check for custom scripts: If you're using custom scripts or add-ons in Google Sheets, they might interfere with StarFlo's menu detection.
4. Verify menu existence: Some menu items might only be available in certain contexts or when specific elements are selected in your spreadsheet.
5. Report the issue: If you've tried everything and still can't pin a specific menu item, please report it to our support team with details about the item you're trying to pin.

StarFlo is designed to work with the latest version of Google Sheets, but compatibility issues can sometimes arise:

• Supported versions: StarFlo works with the standard Google Sheets web interface. It does not currently support the Google Sheets mobile app or the offline desktop version.
• Enterprise features: Some enterprise-specific features of Google Workspace might not be fully supported by StarFlo.
• Beta features: If you're enrolled in Google's beta programs for Sheets, some new features might not be immediately compatible with StarFlo.
• Updates: When Google updates Sheets, there might be a brief period where StarFlo needs to be updated to maintain compatibility. We typically release updates within 1-2 days of major Google Sheets changes.
